A major step towards the future – The new Landis+Gyr site in Nuremberg.

Landis+Gyr is pleased to announce the move of Landis+Gyr GmbH from the current site, Humboldtstraße 64, to a new state-of-the-art facility at the Marienberg Innovation Campus in the north of Nuremberg, Germany.

The newly built site will also host the global Headquarters for Landis+Gyr's Thermal Energy & Water Metering Solutions Business and will be specifically tailored to its needs. From the second half of 2027, the new building complex will offer an infrastructure adapted to Landis+Gyr, thus creating optimal conditions for employees and suppliers. The connection to public transport and the proximity to the airport and the motorway ensure excellent accessibility.

The building will also offer highest ESG standards fully reflecting Landis+Gyr's approach to 'manage energy better'. Furthermore, with numerous charging stations, Landis+Gyr is contributing to the sustainable electric mobility of the future using its own interoperable EV-charging technology.

Another highlight will be the industry 4.0 production facility for thermal energy meters based on digital twin technology. An integrated showroom will serve as a showcase for Landis+Gyr's latest Thermal Energy & Water as well as Power Metering and EV Charging solutions.

Customers and business partners will have the opportunity to experience the latest technologies from Landis+Gyr up close in an appealing environment. For this exciting journey and with strong support of Nuremberg's mayor's office and commercial chamber, Landis+Gyr was able to gain one of Germany's most traditional family foundations, the Dr. Lorenz Tucher'sche Stiftung, as real estate developer and long-time partner for this project. The foundation serves Dr. Lorenz Tucher's cause by preserving and carefully developing selected properties and cultural assets which is matching Landis+Gyr's ambitious ESG targets perfectly.
